Gabriel Messenger Terms and Conditions
Please read and accept the user terms before using account features.
Gabriel Messenger User Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Gabriel Messenger, a Catholic digital mission platform for publishing faith content, community communication, directory information, images, audio, videos, documents, events, donation links and user-submitted reflections.
1. Purpose and mission
Gabriel Messenger exists to support Catholic communication, evangelisation, parish/community collaboration, spiritual learning and responsible digital publishing. Users must respect the Catholic identity, dignity of persons, lawful communication and community trust of the platform.
2. Account eligibility and responsibility
Users must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure. Activities performed through a user account are treated as that user's responsibility. Administrators may verify, approve, suspend, restrict or remove accounts when required for platform safety.
3. Acceptable use
Users must not upload, publish, distribute or link content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, obscene, defamatory, misleading, spam, malicious, privacy-violating, copyright-infringing, politically inflammatory in a harmful manner, or inappropriate for a Catholic/community audience.
4. User-submitted content and moderation
Where public blog, comment, media, prayer request, directory update or other participation features are enabled, submitted content may be reviewed before publication. Authorised administrators may edit formatting, correct metadata, approve, reject, unpublish, archive or delete content based on CMS policy and community standards.
5. Images, video, audio and documents
Users must upload only media they own, created, licensed or have permission to share. Media must be appropriate, safe, non-deceptive and relevant to the selected module. Gabriel Messenger may convert, resize, optimise, move or remove uploaded media for performance, security and moderation.
6. External video and third-party content
YouTube, Vimeo, social media, map, payment, review and other external services may be shown as links or embeds depending on CMS settings. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Gabriel Messenger may disable external embeds when they affect performance, privacy, browser security or user experience.
7. Donations, payments and services
Donation or payment pages may provide UPI, QR, payment gateway or external payment links. Users should verify payment details before completing transactions. Gabriel Messenger does not ask users to share sensitive banking passwords or OTPs through public forms.
8. Privacy, contact details and communication
Account details, contact information and submitted content may be used for login, approval, notifications, support, moderation, publishing workflow, security review and platform communication. Administrators should handle personal information responsibly and according to applicable laws and organisational policy.
9. Security and prohibited activity
Users must not attempt to bypass access controls, upload malware, scrape private data, impersonate others, abuse APIs, attack the website, interfere with service availability, or use the platform for fraudulent or harmful purposes.
10. Intellectual property
Site branding, design, layout, original content, software configuration and CMS structure belong to Gabriel Messenger or the respective rights holders. Users retain responsibility for content they submit and confirm they have the necessary rights to publish it.
11. Administrative rights
Super Admins and authorised Admins may configure menus, themes, languages, notifications, terms, publishing workflow, content approval, visibility, SEO, media, users and integrations. Administrative actions should be performed carefully, with respect for data integrity and auditability.
12. Availability and changes
Gabriel Messenger may update features, themes, modules, integrations, policies and these terms. Temporary interruptions may occur during maintenance, hosting changes, upgrades or third-party service issues.
13. Acceptance and continued use
By creating an account, logging in where acceptance is required, submitting content or continuing to use enabled account features, users agree to follow these Terms and Conditions and any updated version published from the CMS.
14. Contact and support
Questions about these terms, content removal, corrections or account issues should be sent through the configured Contact page or official support details shown on Gabriel Messenger.
